Federal Sales Manager:

  • A demonstrated and strong record of accomplishment in capital equipment sales to the federal / defense markets.
  • Drive and manage lead generation, sales activities, product demonstrations, proposals, RFQ’s and bid preparations
  • Develop and manage the federal sales channel
  • Develop and implement direct and channel sales strategies that help achieve company goals
  • Develop and maintain strategies for lead development and distribution
  • Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities or threats to the company’s business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and participate in industry events to develop a thorough knowledge of the market drivers and customer needs
  • Prepare sales reports to track progress against revenue goals
  • Provide feedback to regional and corporate marketing teams regarding marketing campaigns and implementations
  • Analyze sales contracts with respect to legal and financial perspectives



  • At least 3 years successful direct sales experience in additive manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of how the federal / defense market operates and the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem and procurement process
  • Proficient in using and maintaining a CRM system
  • Strong and impactful presentation skills
  • Experience in deal and contract negotiations
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Able to travel for business
  • Self-motivated, capable of setting and reaching ambitious goals
