As Additive Manufacturing Engineer you will demonstrate accountability for functional, business and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop additive EBM (Electron-beam Additive Manufacturing) processes in order to meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership and technical skills to improve industrial process in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability following the principle of FLIGHT DECK
  • Use your experience or expertise to organize and lead projects focused to develop and execute objectives, solve problems for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business
  • Work closely to the EBM Additive team to improve the EBM process with particular attention LPT TiAl blade components
  • Take part in the manufacturing cycle in the plant: process design, develop process documentation and process instruction, process certification and management of change.
  • Train operators about the correct interpretation of work instructions and procedures
  • Assess processes, take measurements and evaluate data following the Six Sigma approach: identify, develop, evaluate and introduce engineering solutions to meet near term and long range engineering needs
  • Analyze, run test and upgrade systems and processes
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
