Appointees will exhibit enthusiasm, a robust work ethic, exceptional interpersonal skills, rich understanding and zeal for great battery and manufacturing equipment design and their potential benefits. The successful candidates will provide critical, effective reporting to the team’s director and will support development by preparing first rate drawings, product, and machine designs as necessary for business goals.
· Send: timely, apt designs (machine/ equipment); drawings (product/ concept/ component/ assembly)
· Collaborate closely with equipment vendor design engineers and outside partners
· Assist technicians to improve execution of equipment design and implementation
· Support installation of equipment on Pilot line
· Provide outstanding proof of concept and engineering analyses to overcome challenges
A details-oriented, team-centric, coachable Associate or Bachelor of Process/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years’ manufacturing and 3+ years’ battery module and pack design experience. Our winning candidates are proficient in SolidWorks, GD&T, ANSI, Y14.5 and demonstrate exploitable familiarity with various technologies: welding (specifically laser/ ultrasonic); laminating; web handling and intermittent motion processes. These passionate, highly motivated, gifted communicators will provide our exciting client with sharpened understanding of machine shop practices, sheet metal design/ fabrication and material-equipment interactions and related, mission-critical performance impacts.
