Mission

You will be the Additive Manufacturing Development Sr. Manager (Level 6) for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for driving the execution of the high‑level strategy and technical roadmap of Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control to ensure alignment, resource allocation, product integration, and capabilities deployment for additive manufacturing technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Additive Manufacturing Development Sr. Manager (Level 6) you will be responsible for advancing additive manufacturing capabilities across the program.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Additive Materials and Process Development & Qualification
    • Generative Design and Design for Additive Capabilities
    • Additive Hardware Prototyping and Process Development
    • Additive Supply Chain and Customer Support
    • Manage Internal & External Research Projects and Proposals

Profile

Basic Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering, computer science, or other science related field

• Experience in technical program management

• Able to distill complex, multifactor issues, projects, data, and decisions through excellent written, presentation, and communication skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal
skills

• 5+ years of Additive manufacturing experience developing or deploying capabilities, materials, or products

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity working in the Aerospace and defense industries

• 5+ years of experience in technical program/project management in a manufacturing environment

• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment

• Experience with metal additive processes including L-PBF and DED

• Previous leadership experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
