American 3D printer manufacturer Vader Systems are slated to release their MK1 3D Printer in 2018 based on their new patented MagnetoJet technology. The MK1 propels liquefied metal from a 1200°C chamber in a similar way to an inkjet printer allowing for full control in printing materials such as aluminium.

Since the MK1 uses wire rather than powders to print, it offers significantly reduced operating expenses and a reduced time to create and shape parts. The MK1 features a touchscreen with access to all process parameters. This makes it ideal for research and development applications.
