The Micro-3D is a personal 3D printer, delivered in a plug & play version, with an ultra-compact template of less than 20 cm cubes for only 1kg (compared to the MakerBot Replicator 2 that weighs 11.5 kg for dimensions of 49x32x38 cm) . In accordance with this, it proposes a limited print volume of 109 x 113 x 116 mm.
In terms of performance, the M3D has nothing to envy in regards to its top competitors. The Micro 3D has a minimum layer thickness of 50 microns for a horizontal accuracy of 15 microns (compared to the 100 micron layer of thickness and 11 microns on the X, Y axes for the Rep 2).
