The Mark Two is a 3D printer dedicated to professionals who want to make parts that combine strength and durability. Developed by US manufacturer Markforged, the 3D printer has two extruders to combine two printing materials: a plastic base (Nylon or Onyx) and a reinforcing composite material including: carbon fiber filament, fiberglass filament, fiber filament of HSHT glass and Kevlar filament.
The MarkForged 3D printer is based on a filament extrusion process and can print parts up to 320x132x154mm in size with a minimum layer thickness of 100 microns and a maximum speed of 280mm per second. The Mark Two can be operated using the Eiger software or via a control panel at the front.
