Axolotl Biosystems is an Istanbul-based 3D printing company that specializes in bioprinting. Since its establishment in 2016, they have been continuously working on biotechnology research. Specifically, the Turkish company manufactures desktop 3D bio-printers as well as the bio-inks needed for them, thus enabling them to produce living 3D tissue. The goal of Axolotl Biosystems’ work is to reduce the cost of conventional 3D bio-printers, thus making them more accessible to researchers.
