PLA coils from TierTime are specifically designed to work with the printers of the Chinese manufacturer TierTime. These include the Up! Plus 2, the Up! Plus, the Up! Mini as well as the Up! Box.
PLA (polylactic acid) is biodegradable because it is made from renewable materials (corn starch). One of its main features is its low shrinkage in 3D printing, which is why a hot plate is not needed for its printing.
