Tiertime is a Chinese manufacturer of 3D printing solutions, whose UP300 printer uses MEM (Melted Extrusion Modelling), a process which is fundamentally similar to FDM printing. With a single extruder and a range of optional nozzle sizes from 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, or 0.6mm, the printer is aimed for large-scale printing of a consistent quality.

Features of the UP300

The UP300 has a build volume of 255 x 205 x 225 mm and a high print speed of 200mm/second. What’s more, it comes with three extruder options, the first being for ABS and other high-temperature filaments, the second for PLA and similar materials, and the final for TPU. This means that there’s no need to buy multiple printers just to use different materials; all three are combined in one single machine. What’s more, you can use proprietary or third-party filaments.

Furthermore, the double-sided build plate means that printed parts can be removed with ease, decreasing the risk of print errors. You can also clean the printer easily thanks to the removable waste collection tray. In terms of software, the UP 300 uses the UP Studio slicing software (available on Mac and PC). With your printer comes a maintenance accessories kit, a calibration card, and the slicing software all included. You are also offered two years of warranty in case of problems.
