The Sigma D25 is a large desktop 3D printer launched in 2020 by manufacturer BCN3D Technologies. The company announced in 2020 the launch of its 3 new machines equipped with the Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) system.
The Sigma D25 Has Many Advanced Options
Like the other two new machines, the Sigma D25 is designed to ensure maximum productivity through a hassle-free experience. It features a print volume of 420 x 300 x 200 and full connectivity to quickly produce functional prototypes with quality and precision. It is compatible with most thermoplastics on the market, as well as BCN3D Filaments, materials developed by BASF and Mitsubishi Chemical that were optimized to work seamlessly with all BCN3D printers.
One of the most striking features of these new machines is the double extrusion. The Sigma D25 has 5 different 3D printing modes: single mode, duplication mode, mirror mode, multi-material mode and soluble media mode. Thus, the independent double extrusion technology (IDEX) makes the difference in 3D printing.
