The E2 3D printer from Raise3D was first unveiled at TCT Birmingham in September 2019. The machine features a dual extrusion system combined with IDEX technology, which allows two independent extruders to be combined to increase productivity with Mirror and Duplicate modes. This product is intended for professionals and the education sector (Fablabs, Universities, Engineering Schools…).
Features of the Raise3D E2
Capable of printing parts with a maximum size of 330 x 240 x 240 mm, the E2 offers a maximum extrusion temperature of 300°C as well as a heating plate allowing to print a wide variety of filaments including ABS, PLA, flexible filaments, glass or carbon filled filaments, nylons, PETG, ASA, PP, support materials… The 3D printer has a flexible, detachable and magnetic printing plate covered with a layer of silicone to limit the warping effect. The calibration of the plate is done automatically directly from the front control screen.
A Simplified User Experience
The E2 3D printer includes a 7-inch color touch screen that allows you to view videos explaining the possibilities offered by the product, such as changing the filament, launching a print, calibrating the platen, etc. A key advantage of the E2 is its fully enclosed enclosure, which allows it to maintain a stable temperature during printing. Finally, with RaiseCloud and RaiseFactory, it is possible to connect several printers together to run several prints simultaneously.
