If you’re familiar with the 3D printing market, you’ve undoubtedly already heard of Prusa, the Czech manufacturer offering affordable, easy-to-use FDM 3D printers. Historically, the company has always positioned itself on the desktop solutions market, wanting to democratize additive manufacturing while focusing on quality machines. It has recently taken a more professional turn with its Prusa Pro range. At Formnext 2023, the manufacturer presented the Prusa Pro HT90, a delta machine compatible with a wide range of thermoplastics, including high-performance polymers.
Features of the Prusa Pro HT90
The 3D FDM printer offers a print volume of 300 x 300 x 400 mm, and is capable of depositing 1 kilo of PETG or ABS in just 8 hours. It features a heated chamber that can rise to 90°C, a nozzle that can reach 500°C and a heating plate. This makes it compatible with more demanding filament profiles, such as PEI and carbon-fiber-reinforced PEKK. The Prusa Pro HT90 also incorporates a cooling system for processing more standard materials such as PLA. It’s a true Swiss Army knife that will find its place in many industries.
