The ProJet 5500X, based on MultiJet Printing (MJP) technology, allows printing from multiple materials. It combines materials that are more or less rigid and flexible, by a system of UV-radiation and in different shades (opaque, clear, black, white and different levels of gray).
3D Systems explains that the ProJet 5500X allows the creation of some of the most solid composite materials on the market and has a faster printing speed than any other printer of the same category, with 67% wider printing.
