UnionTech is an Asian manufacturer focusing on the development of resin 3D printing solutions for industrial and office applications. Since 2000, the company has made available a range of machines exploiting various resin processes, such as Stereolithography (SLA), Digital Light Processing (DLP) and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Among its various machine series, the Pilot series stands out with the Pilot 250 and Pilot 450 3D printers, both based on stereolithography (SLA) technology.

Features of the Pilot 450 3D Printer

Part of UnionTech’s Pilot series of SLA 3D printers, the Pilot 450 represents a new approach for users wishing to exploit, collaborate and innovate with this technology. With dimensions of 1310 x 1290 x 2135 mm and a weight of 945 kg, this printer is ideally suited to rapid prototyping and the manufacture of small to medium-sized components, offering high print quality, considerable speed and great precision.

The Pilot 450 takes its name from its maximum print volume of 450 x 450 x 400 mm, reflecting the machine’s capacity. What sets this series of 3D printers apart is its open design, which facilitates access to materials and machine settings. Equipped with a closed chamber and an easy-to-use touchscreen, this machine is compatible with the Windows 10 operating system and uses the exclusive UnionTech™ RSCON data preparation and control software.
