The Asian company XYZprinting, founded in 2013, has been setting standards in desktop and professional 3D printing for years. In addition to advanced solutions based on various technologies (powder bed, resin), it also offers full-color extrusion solutions. Although XYZprinting’s PartPro range consists mainly of resin machines, there is also the PartPro200 xTCS, which is based on an extrusion process.
Features of the PartPro200 xTCS
Based on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology (also known as FDM, or Fused Filament Fabrication), the PartPro200 xTCS offers the ability to produce full color parts. This is made possible by the installed “Color Texture Inkjet Printing” system. In addition, the PartPro200 xTCS features the integration of two other technologies. The is 3D scanning through a 3D scanning module that speeds up the modeling workflow. The second is the possibility of laser engraving in the same solution, which adds a professional touch on paper, cardboard, leather, wood, and plastic.
It should be noted that this machine has a maximum print volume of 200 x 200 x 150 mm when working with single-color 3D printing. If full-color parts are to be produced, the production volume is reduced to 185 x 185 x 150 mm. The PartPro200 xTCS features a weight of 15.5 kg, a print speed of 180 mm/s and a layer resolution of 25 / 50 / 100 micrometers, among other features. In addition, it has a touch screen control, a closed housing and automatic calibration.
As for materials, this 3D printer can work with standard thermoplastics such as PLA or Tough PLA, but also with PETG, antibacterial materials or even carbon fiber if a special extruder is used. Compatible with the manufacturer’s XYZprint AM software, the PartPro200 xTCS is an ideal multicolor 3D printer for producing high-quality parts.
