The Magneto X stands out as the world’s first desktop 3D printer to incorporate magnetic linear motor technology. From the Peopoly brand, it is based on the well-known FDM technology. However, the way the Peopoly Magneto X MagLev works differs significantly from conventional FDM 3D printers. By replacing mechanical elements with magnets and magnetically levitated motors, it eliminates friction and limits the number of mechanical parts.

Features of the Magneto X

The Peopoly Magneto X offers a print volume of 400 x 300 x 300 with a displacement accuracy of 3 microns. Its extruder can heat up to 300°C to melt a variety of filaments, including high-temperature materials, at a maximum flow rate of 60 mm3/s. In addition, the heating platen can reach 130°C and the print head can move rapidly at up to 1,500 mm/s, while print speed can reach 800 mm/s. The printer is equipped with a large 7″ touch screen on its front panel, displaying the Klipper software interface. As far as software is concerned, Peopoly recommends the use of Orca Slicer.
