Chinese manufacturer UnionTech is mainly known for its resin 3D printing solutions based on different technologies (SLA, DLP, LCD). However, it also has several metal machines that create 3D parts by SLM (Selective Laser Melting). The M series includes 3 3D printers: the M180, the M260 and the M420. Let’s take a look at the properties of the M260 below.

Features of the M260

The M260 is an industrial-grade SLM 3D printer that has been designed to offer a highly efficient, accurate and stable metal part manufacturing process. It has a total weight of 1600kg and outside dimensions of 1930 × 1230 × 2070 mm. With a layer thickness of between 0.02 and 0.1 mm, this machine integrates an IPG, 2 x 500W laser for the creation of high-quality parts.

This 3D printer has a maximum print volume of 252 x 252 x 310 mm and is compatible with a wide variety of metals. With an enclosed enclosure and control screen, the machine is compatible with the Windows 10 operating system and the company’s proprietary UnionTech™ RSCON control and data preparation software.
