Chinese 3D printer manufacturer Anycubic was founded in Shenzhen, China in 2015. The company has established itself worldwide as a researcher and developer of 3D printers and accessories, suppliers and service providers. The company offers a few different models of FDM and resin 3D printers that are suitable for a variety of industries and applications. Anycubic has become one of the most popular 3D printer brands on the market and has proven its success by expanding into markets around the world. With the Kobra 2 Max, Anycubic has launched a filament 3D printer that features a dual Z-axis motor capable of using PLA, ABS, PETG and TPU filament.

Kobra 2 Max Features

Anycubic’s Kobra 2 Max FDM 3D printer has dimensions of 735 (L) x 640 (D) x 740 (H) mm and can produce parts with a maximum size of 500 (L) x 420 (D) x 420 (H) mm. It also has plenty of computing power and a maximum print speed of 500 mm/s, which is 10 times that of conventional FDM printers. This is made possible by its 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor. By using a direct extruder and a dual-motor, dual-Z-axis motion structure, fast melting and cooling is achieved, as the material is replenished quickly. This also reduces the formation of layer lines.

The printer is also equipped with vibration compensation. It can also be connected to the Anycubic app for intelligent control. The 4.3-inch color touchscreen makes operation even easier. The spring-loaded magnetic platform also makes it easy to remove the model. The Kobra 2 Max is also equipped with automatic leveling.
