In addition to the J5 Dentajet, which as its name suggests is intended for the dental sector, the American additive manufacturing giant is offering the J5 Medijet. Launched in 2021 by the company, the machine is dedicated to healthcare professionals and allows for printing in multiple colors.

The characteristics of the J5 Medijet

With a printing volume of 140 x 200 x 190 mm, and based on the PolyJet process, the 3D printer can respond to several problems that may be encountered by healthcare professionals. With its compatibility with many materials and its ability to print parts in multiple colors, academic medical centers, hospitals and medical equipment companies can create outstanding pre-operative planning models, models for teaching and training, medical equipment development models and drilling and cutting guides that are sterilizable and biocompatible.

Compatible with opaque, transparent and colored materials, the J5 Medijet is designed to limit the number of manual interventions required.
