Chinese manufacturer FlashForge is renowned for its affordable FDM and light-curing 3D printing solutions. It offers a wide range of products to meet different market needs, and strives to develop easy-to-use machines. Among them is the Hunter S, a DLP 3D printer offering a larger print volume than its big sister, the Hunter.
Hunter S 3D printer features
The Hunter S offers a print volume of 144 x 81 x 180 mm, which is 72% larger than the Hunter. The print platen has also been redesigned to avoid calibration errors; the platen is more stable, resulting in better quality prints. The resin tray has also been extended and is now more open to allow resin to be poured more comfortably.
The machine is based on the DLP, or Digital Light Processing, process, which enables resin to be photopolymerized layer by layer. This is a compact 3D printer, designed for applications in the dental sector. Print speeds range from 10 to 50 mm/h.
