Already having had years of experience in mechanical engineering, HAGE3D, a company based in Styria, Austria, ventured into the additive market in 2019. Since then, the company has been offering a variety of different serial models and special solutions, which ensure not only high reliability and precision, but also constant availability of spare parts and corresponding services. Aside from the HAGE3D L175C, this particular series of printers includes models MEX ONE and the HAGE3D 140L. All of these models promise cheaper and faster large-format printing thanks to their granulated printhead, as well as reliable printing processes thanks to in-house process development. In addition to that, the models allow long-term round-the-clock operation, which is ensured by robust mechanical engineering. What makes the HAGE3D 175C stand out is its ability to print XXL parts with a size up to more than one cubic meter. This industrial 3D printer is compatible with the Multi-DSD or the PEX granulate print head in addition to the standard DSD print head. 

Technical features of the HAGE3D 175C 

With its 1,200 x 1,200 x 1,200 mm build envelope, which can be heated up to a total of 80 degrees, the HAGE3D 175C boasts a print speed of 300 mm/s. Likewise, users of the 3D printer can enjoy its smart stop-and-go feature, which allows them to easily interrupt the printing process if needed. With a nozzle diameter of 0.2 to 1.0 mm, the technology is able to reach a print speed of up to 250 mm/s, although it depends on the geometry and material. Just like HAGE3D’s other series models, the HAGE3D 175C is compatible with a wide range of materials, which don’t necessarily have to be manufacturer-specific.  

A highlight of the HAGE3D 175C is its automatic print bed calibration via multi-point topography measurement, powerful and targeted component cooling with up to 4.8 m3/h as well as the adjustment of print parameters in real-time thanks to its override function. In addition to that, the HAGE3D machine also has an automated mail notification ability which informs users about filament refill and multi-level user rights concept.
