The FUNMAT PRO 410 is an industrial 3D printer designed and manufactured by the Chinese company INTAMSYS. Similar to the FUNMAT HT, the FUNMAT PRO 410 has been designed to print various high-performance materials PEEK, PEEK-CF, PEEK-GF, PEKK, PPS) and engineering materials (PA, PA-CF, PC, ABS). However, this printer has a larger build-volume. As with all 3D printers from INTAMSYS, the FUNMAT PRO 410 has been designed to make accurate, high-quality, industrial-grade parts. It is especially suited for industries needing high-performance parts, especially those moving beyond prototyping to end-use 3D printed parts, such as in aerospace, automotive or power & energy, among others.

The FDM machine has a double extruder and offers a printing volume of 305 x 305 x 406 mm. It offers interesting thermal characteristics allowing it to be compatible with a wide variety of high-performance materials (PEEK, PEI, PPSU, etc.). Indeed, its extruder can reach up to 450°C, its printing plate, 160° and its chamber, 90°C. Additionally, though INTAMSYS offers its own INTAM™ filaments which come with ready-to-print settings, the FUNMAT PRO 410 is actually open source when it comes to materials. This means that the printer is compatible with filaments from any currently available brand on the market.

The FUNMAT PRO 410 offers prints without deformations or cracks thanks to an optimised management of the different temperatures. An ideal solution for all manufacturers who want to create functional parts. Also, to help make the process of printing with challenging, high-performance materials easier, the manufacturer has included a number of exciting features. These include, for example, both filament jam and filament absence warnings, over heat protection, power failure recovery, auto-cleaning nozzles and over heat protection. Furthermore, for smoother prints, the printer also has sensor assisted automatic leveling and high-speed precision for parts. This all with a high safety standard.
