The Creator Pro 3D printer is an open-source 3D printer from Chinese manufacturer, FlashForge. Its predecessor, the Creator has been updated and improved to deliver high quality and precision prints. Based on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology, the Creator Pro takes precision and quality to a new level, and is best suited for hobbyists, makers and enthusiasts. Its new design is also more user friendly.

Creator Pro: an open-source 3D printer

This 3D printer offers a build volume of 227 x 150 x 148 mm in a fully enclosed build chamber. It contains an extruder, a cooling fan, and a heated build plate that can rise up to 120°C. Creator Pro is compatible with multiple 3D printing software such as Simplify3D, FlashPrint, Cura, and more. Its build plate is made of industrial grade aluminium, with a thickness of 6.5 mm.

The dual extruder enables dual color 3D printing (by using two different filament spools) and uses a patented nozzle structure. It supports ABS, PLA and other thermoplastics. The dual extruder allows you to print the main part with ABS and the support structures with dissolvable filament. It can also be tuned to print with a wide range of experimental materials such as Flex, and composite filaments such as woodFill, copperFill, etc.

Finally, the new model also features sleek handles on the side of the machine for easy transportation and more safety. It features a LCD panel to monitor printing more easily.
