Features of the 2CREATE 3D Printer
The metal 3D printer is the first from the company to use Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) and is characterized by its particularly fast production time. Among other things, this is due to the fact that the recoater picks up powder again during rotation while the laser process is still in progress. By having the recoater move in only one direction, idle times can be reduced. In addition, the machine can start printing another part immediately after manufacturing one. Efficient handling is provided by the transparent print files in Gcode format and the ability to use powders from various manufacturers. Printable materials include cobalt, iron, aluminum, titanium, copper, bronze and nickel. Looking at other technical features, we see that it is a 250W cw fiber laser.
The 2CREATE is particularly well suited for use in dentistry and orthodontics, as highly accurate parts can be produced with the F-Theta lens, such as dental implants or prototypes. In the process, dental implants can be manufactured with a biocompatible alloy, making them safe for use on patients.
