Originally developed by a team at the University of Oxford for the medical imaging industry, the Fuel3D is the first 3D scanner to combine pre-calibrated ‘stereo’ cameras and photometric imaging. To use is quite simple, you simply point the model and click on the capture button. After shooting (in less than 5 seconds), the raw image is converted to color geometric data by the software embedded in the scanner. The 3D file can then be viewed on a computer, edited and printed in 3D.
